JACK SPARROW

Jack Sparrow's look consisted of thick dreadlocks, gold teeth, a pleated goatee, a leather hat, beads in the hair, a red headband, black coat, the black eye make up and he was perfect!. To create this look i would start the smudgy eye look by giving the eye a base by using a concealer, applying in a patting motion across the eyelid, in the corners and a little underneath. Next i'd use a soft kohl black eyeliner starting at the inside corner drawing a medium sized line along the lash line then drawing along the inside lower lid then another line along that lower lash line. Using an angle brush i would then apply a little black powder eyeshadow above the line on the upper lid then the same underneath the eyes, brushing the shadow down a little further. To finish i would use my fingers to smudge out the upper eyeliner, blending it all over the eyelid then applying translucent powder to set!
EDWARD SISSORHANDS

Edwards character is very iconic and unusual, his look is very bizarre. To recreate the characters facial makeup i would create some scars using latex and perhaps some toilet paper to give it the effect that he catches his face with his scissor fingers. Large scars can be created by soaking a small amount of toilet paper in latex and sticking it onto the face pinching it to create a realistic scar on the face. Net i would apply a very pale almost white colour foundation or mixing some white grease paint with some foundation to the entire face and part of the neck. Some shading is needed so a reddish purple colour that looks like bruising can be applied to make him look guant. Creating dark circles around the eyes and streaks along the cheekbones then blending it well to look subtle. The lips are a deep purple shade. Using powder over the face and lips will make the face look dry rather than shiny.
I really like the fantasy looks that you have chosen.
